'Bikini Girl' Archana Gautam pens emotional note after UP po

Indians were glued to news channels and social media on Thursday as election results of five states were finally declared. Out of 5 states, BJP emerged victorious in 4 states, while the AAP made it into history by winning the Punjab elections. However, the grand old party Indian National Congress (INC) failed to win in any of the states. Not only this, but Congress also lost its stronghold in Punjab where the Aam Aadmi Party swept the election of the border state. IN UP, similar images of Congress erupted. Interestingly, 'bikini girl' Archana Gautam also failed to woo the voters. 

Bollywood actress, famously known as 'Bikini Girl' Archana Gautam tried her luck in politics and contested in the Uttar Pardesh elections from the Congress party for the Hastinapur constituency. 'Bikini Girl' Archana Gautam's performance in UP polls remained dismal as was able to secure only 1519 votes. BJP's Dinesh Khatik won from Hastinapur assembly seat, while Yogesh Verma of Samajwadi Party is at number two. Archana Gautam, popularly known as Bikini Girl, has got a total of 1519 votes. At the same time, Dinesh of BJP got 1,07,087 votes and Yogesh Verma of Samajwadi Party, who came second, got 1,00,275 votes.

Following her defeat 'Bikini Girl' Archana Gautam took to her Instagram and broke her silence on her defeat at the UP Polls. In an emotional post, Archana expressed her gratitude to the people of Hastinapur. Furthermore, 'Bikini Girl' stated that this time people did not trust their daughter but she will soon make her comeback and will win people's trust. 

For those who are wondering who is 'Bikini Girl' Archana Gautam, she is a Bollywood actress and she contested from Hastinapur seat on the Congress party's ticket. Archana Gautam made her Bollywood debut in the film Great Grand Masti with actors Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani. She was later seen in Shraddha Kapoor's Haseena Parkar and Baraat Company. Archana had done an item number in the movie Junction Varanasi. She has also acted in T-series music videos.

'Bikini Girl' Archana Gautam was crowned Miss Uttar Pradesh in 2014. She later became Miss Bikini India and Miss Bikini Universe India. She had represented India in Miss Cosmos World 2018. Archana Gautam is an actress, model, and beauty pageant winner. Archana Gautam had graduated in BJMC from IIMT, Meerut. Archana Gautam made her Bollywood debut in 2015. In Southern cinema, she is known as Bikini Girl.
