Billie Eilish scripts history; wins her second Oscar for Best Original song in Barbie

Pop star Billie Eilish on Monday (Indian Timing) scripted history as she won Oscars for Best Original Song which she sang in the movie Barbie. Billie Eilish won the Best Original Song award with her brother Finneas O'Connell. Billie won for the song What Was I Made For? for the movie Barbie. It was the second time when Billie had bagged an Academy Award. By doing it, Billie Eilish became the first woman to win the “Triple Crown” (Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globe) of film music twice. Now, only this, she became the youngest two-time Oscar winner in history at 22 years old. Before this, Billie Eilish won the Oscar for No Time To Die. 

 

Apart from Billie, other singers who were nominated in the category included- The Fire Inside - Flamin' Hot (Diane Warren), I'm Just Ken - Barbie (Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt), It Never Went Away - American Symphony (Jon Batiste, Dan Wilson), Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People) - Killers of the Flower Moon (Scott George).
