While Israel-Hamas continue to remain at war after the armed Palestinian group launched terror attacks against the Jews, the world is divided into two halves. While a section of people were backing Hamas despite the terror attack, western countries were backing Israel for its right to defense. However, multiple incidents happened when calls for the genocide of Jews and antisemitism rants were witnessed during students' protests, especially in world-renowned colleges like Harvard and others. As a result, Harvard University president Dr Claudine Gay was recently grilled at Capitol Hill and was seen dodging questions on antisemitism and calls for genocide of the Jews in the college administration. As a result, Billionaire Bill Ackman demanded to sack Harvard University president Dr Claudine Gay.

For those who are unaware, the presidents of Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) testified Tuesday on Capitol Hill about increasing concerns of antisemitism on their campuses. The questioning came on the back of rising hate crimes fuelled by the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict being reported on campuses.

Republican Representative Elise Stefanik asked Harvard University president Dr Claudine Gay on point blank whether the calling for genocide of Jews on its college campus amounted to harassment or bullying against Jewish students. Stefanik demanded Gay, an African-American, answer yes or no to whether a student calling for the "mass murder of African-Americans" on campus was protected under free speech. "Our commitment to free speech...," Gay said when Stefanik interrupted her, saying, "It’s a yes or no question. Let me ask you this: you are the president of Harvard, so I assume you are familiar with the term 'intifada', correct?

After that, Stefanik asks, "Let me ask this, you are President of Harvard, so I assume you are familiar with the term Intifada, correct? " Gay answers, "I have heard that term yes." Stefanik then outlined that Intifada is an Arabic term that means a violent uprising against Israel and asks are you aware of that. Gay answers that that time of such hateful speeches were "personally abhorrent" to her.

Sharing Gay's video, Bill Ackman wrote, "She has to go now" hinting that he is now demanding her sacking. Notably, Bill Ackman has been a critic of students carrying out protests in favour of Palestine and Hamas in college campuses. Ackman has asked the college administration to make the name of the protestors public so that they will decide whether they will hire the students in the company or not
