Bloody Daddy will be released on June 9 on Jio Cinemas. Unlike Farzi which was a web series, Bloody Daddy is a movie that stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. Apart from Shahid Kapoor, actors like Ronit Roy, Rajiv Khandelwal, Sanjay Kapoor, and actress Diana Penty will also be seen in the movie. Film-maker Ali Abbas Zafar is famous for his movies like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. The upcoming project marks the first collaboration between Zafar and Shahid Kapoor. The response on the trailer is top-notch. Fans are loving the action sequence which has been shown in the trailer.
Shahid Kapoor was quoted by a newswire saying that he had a lot of fun doing the action film. "It was a lot of fun. I had a great time doing an action film, I really enjoyed working with Ali. He understands the genre very well. The dilemma now is that if you're doing something of this scale, on OTT, what do you do on the big screen? So we have to figure that out, it has been a blast," Shahid Kapoor was quoted saying this.
