Bomb found near Military base creates a stir in Ludhiana, probe underway

A bomb was found from the military ground near Khanna in Ludhiana, Punjab. Reportedly, around 6 days back Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra also passed through this route. The Ludhiana Police sealed the entire area on receiving information about the same.

Bomb Squad team has reached the area to carry out an investigation. Army has also been informed as the bomb was found near the military ground. The military is carrying out its own investigation. Reportedly, it was just 6 days back when Rahul Gandhi along with other Congress leaders also passed from the same route. Post this, many questions have surfaced regarding when, why and by whom the bomb was planted. As per information, senior officers of the Punjab Police have reached the spot to investigate the matter.

Ludhiana Police is keeping a continuous check on various locations where a mishappening can take place around 26th January 2023. The information of bomb has created a stir in the peaceful atmosphere. Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab earlier has also witnessed two security lapses. Both lapses took place in Hoshiarpur within a time span of 35 minutes. Firstly, a young man forcibly tried to hug Rahul Gandhi amidst tight security. Post this, another man with a saffron cloth tied on his head broke the security and went close to Rahul Gandhi.
