After Kangana Ranaut was suspended on Twitter for violating the platform’s policy, a couple of fashion designers have decided to boycott the actress too. Twitter suspended actress Kangana Ranaut's account from the microblogging platform yesterday morning due to a series of tweets she posted about the violence in West Bengal. Twitter said in a statement that Ranaut's tweets were against their rules and that her account had been permanently suspended.

Following that, Delhi-based designer Anand Bhushan issued a similar statement, saying, "In light of recent events, we have decided to delete all collaboration photos with Kangana Ranaut from our social media platforms." We also promise to never be involved with her in the future in any capacity.”

Swara Bhasker, Kangana's Tanu Weds Manu co-star, praised both designers for taking a stand on Twitter, saying she was "pleasantly surprised to see this"as she posted screenshots of both designers' comments.

Rangoli Ranaut, Ranaut's sister, responded to these claims with an Instagram message. “No one knows you,” she said. “Please sit down and don't pretend to be popular at the expense of others!! I have decided to sue this small-time designer because he is attempting to disassociate himself from India's top actress. He will have to show in court how and where we had some endorsement with him now that he is claiming to disassociate himself.
