Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Wednesday lost his calm and lashed out at a journalist for asking him questions based on the ongoing skyrocketing fuel prices in India. A video of angry Baba Ramdev is getting viral on social media in which he was asked about his remarks in the past about petrol price coming down to Rs 40 if the government changed in 2014. Fuming at the journalist, Baba Ramdev not only refused to give a proper answer but also threatened the journalist to shut his mouth. Following that people on social media started slamming Baba Ramdev and hence, #BoycottPatanjaldi started trending.

In the Baba Ramdev Viral Video, a journalist can be seen asking the Patanjali Brand Ambassador about his comment to the media that people should consider a government that can ensure petrol for Rs 40 per litre and cooking gas at Rs 300 a cylinder. In the Baba Ramdev Viral Video, the journalist was referring to the Yoga Guru's old interview which he gave before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections i.e. before the arrival of Narendra Modi government. 

In the viral video, you can see Baba Ramdev angrily replied to the journalist's question saying, "Yes, I said it, what can you do? Don't keep asking such questions. Am I your thekedar (contractor) who has to keep answering your questions?" However, the journalist kept on pressing Baba Ramdev to come up with an answer, to that the Patanjali Brand Ambassador came up with an unexpected response. 

He said, "I made the comment. Ab kya kar lega (what will you do)? Chup ho ja, ab aage se puchhega to thik nahi hoga (Just shut up. If you ask again, it won't be good for you)." 


It is pertinent to mention here that Baba Ramdev viral video have surfaced at a time when the Government of India is unable to stop the price hike of petrol, diesel, and even cooking gas. Notably, the prices of fuel have been rising for the past 10 days continuously. With the latest price revision, petrol now costs Rs 101.81 per litre in Delhi, while diesel is selling at Rs 93.07 per litre. In fact, Rs 50 has been hiked in the price of domestic cooking gas.
