BSF foils bid to smuggle contraband in Amritsar Sector

Total contraband item recovered on 23rd April 2022 is appx 3.970 Kgs.

On 23rd April 2022, Border Security Force troops while carrying out area domination patrol ahead of Border Security Fence in the area of Amritsar Sector, recovered 01 packet of contraband items suspected to be Heroin (Gross weight - 1.050 kgs) wrapped in white adhesive tape.

2. In another incident, during search in the AOR of Amritsar Sector BSF troops recovered 12 packets of contraband items suspected to be Heroin (Gross weight - 2.920 kgs) wrapped in yellow adhesive tape.

3. Total contraband item recovered on 23rd April 2022 is appx 3.970 Kgs.

4. Vigilant BSF troops had once again foiled the nefarious attempts of anti-national elements to smuggle contraband.

5. BSF is committed for fight against drugs.
