Travelling from Mumbai to Hyderabad? Your journey will soon cut down to 3.5 Hours

The travel time between Mumbai to Hyderabad will now be reduced by almost 9.5 hours.

It's good news for those people who travel regularly from Mumbai to Hyderabad. In the next few years, travelling distance between the two metro cities will become 711 and the time will be less than 3.5 hours. The upcoming bullet trains will make this possible. 

Currently, it takes more than 10 hours to travel between Mumbai to Hyderabad via trains. But very soon this long duration will be cut short by almost 9.5 hours with the arrival of bullet trains. 

All thanks to the Bullet trains incredible speed. Bullet trains run with an average speed of 320 km/hour while the average speed of existing normal trains is only 80 km/hour to 120 km/hour. 

As per a TOI report, the tenders for the preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Mumbai-Pune-Hyderabad bullet train plan has already been issued by National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL).

Apart from this,  seven other bullet train projects have been initiated for which will cost INR 10 lakh crore to the Indian government. 

Achal Khare, managing director, NHSRCL informed the media,“The bullet train project will benefit the country and give a boost to the skill development sector. The government has asked for DPRs of all the seven new corridors. Capital costs can be decided only after taking into consideration things like terrains and route length.”
