Mumbai: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday declined by 308.45 points to 35,161.70 as selling pressure was seen in Realty, Auto, IT, Bankex, Metal, Power and Health care stocks.The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too fell by 96.05 points reaching 10,567.45.55.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 35,443.99 and 35,010.82 respectively. The Nifty recorded intra-day high and low at 10,635.45 and 10,534.65 points respectively.
Barring Consumer durables, all other sectoral Indices were trading with negative bias. The losers were Tes Bank by 3,46 pcto Rs 175.80, Indus Bank by 2.74 pc to Rs 1,521.60, SunPharma by 2.25 pc to Rs 414.10, Tata Motors by 1.92 pc to Rs 169.00 and Reliance by 1.91 pc to Rs 1069.25. The gainers were Hetomotco by 0.35 pc to Rs 3184.00, ITC by 0.22 pc to Rs 276.85, Asian Paints by 0.18 pc to Rs 1,358.55 and HCL tech by 0.05 pc to Rs 939.00.
