Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s Jalandhar branch organized Industrial Visit for CA Students of Jalandhar, Phagwara, Hoshiarpur and Kapurthala.
Visit was organized at Emson Gears Limited, Ludhiana. Emson Group are manufacturing precision auto components for renowned OEMs (original equipment manufacturer) of Cars, MUV, LCV, MCV, HCV and tractors.
The company gives facilities by producing Crown Wheel and Pinion, Transmission Gears, Axle Shafts, Synchro Assembly and Vital Engine Components with Captive Forge Shop.
Managers and workers there gave students complete knowledge about the different divisions within the manufacturing units.
From procurement of raw material for gears for cars and tractors to set foot on finished goods, detailed understanding was given.
Live examples were demonstrated and illustrated for different processes through which the raw material had to surpass. Quality control systems and checks were there at each end of the process to monitor and ensure the best quality in the market.
Managers also informed about advance technology they are using to transform components like gears, axle shafts and vital engine components.

Students were observing that how all the processes are automated by technology thus making the industry more of capital intensive. All the questions about processes were answered smoothly by production head team.
Finance manager also informed about their suppliers and buyers. Students got to understand the coordination and team work they were maintaining in all the divisions of the industry, thus making their brand best in market.
Chairman of Jalandhar Branch of ICAI informed in a statement that This visit was full of knowledge and new experience for CA Students. It changed approach of Students towards industry.
He thanked past Chairman CA Rajesh Anand for facilitating tie up with industry and CA Rajnish Arora, CFO of the company for support during the visit. Students were accompanied by Chairman CA Shashi Bhushan, Vice chairman CA Abhishek Bansal, CA Paramjot Singh and CA Rishab Aggarwal.
