Cabinet minister Aman Arora sentenced to 2 years in prison

Eight other people have also been sentenced in this case; a fine was also imposed

Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora has been sentenced to two years imprisonment by Sangrur's Sunam Court in a family feud case. Apart from this, eight other people have also been sentenced in this case. This case was registered in 2008. The court has also imposed a fine on the accused in this case.

 

Complainant Rajinder Deepa, who is Arora’s brother-in-law, told that this was not a fight but instead a stab in the back. This case is fifteen years old at this point. 

 

In the year 2008, Deepa had gone to Chandigarh from Sunam. During this time, Aman Arora, along with his mother had tried to capture his house. As soon as his PA told him that there was an attempt to capture the house, he called the DSP from there at the same time and informed him about the whole incident.

 

When he reached home in the evening, Aman Arora's mother was present there. Just then Arora reached there with his supporters. Then he tried to reportedly tried to assault Deepa even though he claimed that he was the one wronged at that time. Also, a complaint was lodged against Arora.

 

The complaint was lodged in 2008. The court has now delivered its verdict. Aman Arora has been sentenced to two years in prison. Arora’s statement has not been received yet.
