Canada: 18-year-old Punjabi boy stabbed to death in Surrey school, probe underway

Shocking news has come to fore wherein an 18-year-old boy was stabbed to death in parking lot of Surrey, B.C. high school. This incident took place on November 22, 2022. Soon after this incident was reported, investigation was initiated by police and deceased is now identified as Indian.

As per reports, deceased was identified as Mehakpreet Sethi who was a resident of Punjab, India. He died after being attacked by miscreants in parking area of Tamanawis Secondary School on Tuesday. Police informed that as soon as this incident was reported, officials reached spot within no time and while taking Mehakpreet to hospital, they lost him. According to information, Mehakpreet was not a student of that school, he went to pick up his brother when he got attacked.

Police authorities in Canada have informed that a 17-year-old suspect was arrested for this incident. Investigators are believing that deceased and the suspect knew each other before. Officials are trying to talk to students who witnessed the stabbing and taking their statements.
