Canada-based gangster Sukhdool Singh linked to Khalistan shot dead in Winnipeg: Reports

While the India-Canada relationship is hitting rock bottom day by day over the Khalistan issue, a gangster named Sukhdool Singh was reportedly shot dead in Winnipeg. As per reports, Sukhdool Singh aka Sukha who was shot dead in Canada's Winnipeg. He was on the most-wanted list of India's central investigative agency NIA. Sukhdool Singh was reportedly right hand or close aide to another Canada-based gangster Arsh Dallla who recently took responsibility of killing a Congress leader in Punjab, India. Reportedly, Sukha was killed by unidentified assailants in a gang war in Winnipeg city, Canada.

Reports further suggest that Sukha had escaped to Canada from Punjab, India in 2017 on forged documents. The Punjab Police Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) reportedly believe he supported the DB gang and joined pro-Khalistan forces in Canada. A separate report suggests that last month, two close aides of Arsh Dalla, Manpreet Singh Peeta and his brother Mandeep, were deported from the Philippines to India. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) later arrested them. Personnel of the Punjab police were also present at the Delhi airport at that time. Manpreet had executed many plans at the behest of Arsh Dala in Punjab while staying in the Philippines.

Talking about Arsh Dalla, he grabbed the headlines a few days back for taking responsibility for killing a local Congress leader in Punjab's Moga. The Congress leader was named Baljinder Singh Balli. Hours after the fatal shooting, a Canada-based Khalistani terrorist, Arsh Dalla, claimed responsibility for the attack in a Facebook post.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Punjab Police on Thursday amped up its crackdown on the Gangster-Terror nexus in the state. For this, the Punjab Police are raiding in Moga, Ferozepur, Tarn Taran, and Amritsar rural.

It is pertinent to mention here that after Canadian PM Trudeau's support to Khalistani outfits, the NIA in India amped its crackdown on the Gangster-Terror nexus linked to Khalistan. NIA on September 20 announced a cash reward of Rs. 10 lakh each for information leading to the arrest of some "listed terrorists" for "promoting the terror activities of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) in the country". The NIA additionally announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for information on three of these terrorists' associates, Parminder Singh Kaira alias Pattu, Satnam Singh alias Satbir Singh alias Satta, and Yadvinder Singh alias Yadda.

As per reports, the wanted terrorists listed by NIA are suspected of carrying out terrorist crimes and activities, as well as transporting weapons and drugs, used in terrorist attacks, into Punjab and extorting large sums of money from powerful businessmen and other people of note in order to support the BKI, a terrorist organisation that is outlawed.
