The countdown for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival has begun and fans have been eagerly waiting to witness their favorite celebrities walking the red carpet of the prestigious event. For the unversed, Cannes is an annual celebration and screening of feature films, documentaries, short films, and more. Until 2023, the Cannes Film Festival was called International Film Festival. The 76th Festival de Cannes will start on May 16, 2023, and will conclude on May 17, 2023. Apart from this, the famous Cannes 2023 red carpet will take place at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. Those who want to watch movies that are being screened at the 2023 Cannes film festival they can opt for open-air screenings at the Cinéma de la Plage which will take place every evening from 9:30 pm. Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma will be making her debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. Famous for her movies like Pari, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and many more, Anushka will attend the 2023 Cannes for the sole purpose of honoring women in cinema. Anushka will be joined by veteran Hollywood actress Kate Winslet. Anushka who is also the wife of former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has already started her preparation ahead of her big debut at the French Riviera. Anushka recently met the French ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain with her husband Virat Kohli.

2) Aishwarya Rai

Veteran Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai will once again attend the Cannes Film Festival 2023. It will be Aishwarya's 20th appearance at the Cannes film festival, courtesy of her professional ties with beauty brand L'Oreal Paris. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the Cannes Film Festival for the first time in 2002. In 2023 Cannes, she will be attending the event as spokesperson of L'Oreal Paris. Aishwarya was quoted by a newswire saying, ""I look forward to returning to Festival de Cannes as a global spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris...The brand’s unwavering dedication to empowering women has been a constant throughout its illustrious history, and this year’s theme serves yet another impactful step in that direction...". Notably, Aishwarya Rai is a former Miss World and has worked in multiple Bollywood as well as Hollywood films. Her Bollywood films include- Dhoom 2, Devdas, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, etc, while her Hollywood movies include- Bride And Prejudice (2004), Mistress Of Spices (2005), Provoked (2006), The Last Legion, etc.

3)Manushi Chhillar

Apart from Anushka Sharma, Miss World 2017 and Bollywood actress Manushi Chhillar will also be making her Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet debut. Like Anushka, Manushi Chhillar will be walking the red carpet with the purpose of honoring women in cinema. Notably, Manushi made her Bollywood debut alongside Akshay Kumar in the movie Prithviraj Chauhan. Although the movie did not do well, it is a well-accepted fact that Manushi is a great representative of India who has won Miss World in 2017.

4)Aditi Rao Hydari

Aditi Rao Hydari who is in the limelight for portraying Anarkali in the historical drama Taj at Zee5 will also attend the 2023 Cannes red carpet. Aditi Rao Hydari debuted at Cannes in 2022, and therefore it means it will be her second appearance back to back at the prestigious event. Like Aishwarya, she will attend the event as the spokesperson of L'Oreal Paris.

5)Dolly Singh

Social media influencer Dolly Singh will also make her debut at the Cannes 2023 film festival. for the unversed, Dolly Singh is from Nainital who has become one of the most famous content creators in the country having built a Dollyverse of her own, with fun little characters like Raju Ki Mummy, South Delhi Girl, Guddi Bhabhi, Zeenat, and Shree.Yes! just like Bhuvan Bam of BB Ki Vines. Last but not the list- Andrea Kevichusa. Andrea Kevichusa was last seen in the movie Anek alongside Ayashmann Khurana. Andrea Kevichusa played the character of a boxer from Nagaland who wants to represent her country at the highest level so that her state becomes more relevant and known around the world. Andrea Kevichusa will make her debut at Cannes in 2023 to represent the state of Nagaland.
