Punjab CM demands an apology from Sukhbir Badal for the vandalization of Rajiv Gandhi's statue
Warns the Akali Dal; Ludhiana Police to take strict action against the Akali Dal Workers

Chandigarh, December 25: Captain Amarinder Singh condemned the vandalization of the statue of Rajiv Gandhi by the Akali Dal workers and warned Sukhbir Singh Badal of the consequences in the coming Lok Sabha Elections. He also advised Sukhbir Singh Badal to not indulge in petty politics.
The Chief Minister also asked the Ex Deputy Chief Minister to immediately apologize for the shameful act of his party workers, who were clearly acting on an agenda to garner votes in the upcoming polls. "Indulgence in such petty and condemnable actions will not absolve you or your family of the many sins of omission and commission against the Guru Granth Sahib and the Sikh community", Captain further told Sukhbir.
Captain Amarinder Singh directed Ludhiana police to immediately identify the culprits responsible for the vandalism and take stringent action against them, as per law.
The Akali, in a haste to seize political mileage, took the law into their hands, which his government would not allow at any cost, the Chief Minister warned, adding that he would not let the state hard-earned peace be disturbed by anyone.
