Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces on Wednesday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Awantipora of Pulwama district,informed official sources. They alerted about the presence of militants. The troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF have launched a joint search operation at village Badrawan, Awantipora, in Pulwama early this morning. All the exit points were sealed and house-to-house searches were started off. They also added that the operation was going on when the reports last came in.
