In a horrific development, at least 10 wagons of a goods train on Saturday derailed on the Patel Nagar-Dayabasti section in the Delhi area. The Goods Train derailment took place when it was passing under the Zakhira flyover on Saturday morning near Sarai Rohilla Railway station. A man present nearby shot the entire video and the goods train derailment video was caught on cam.

In the viral Goods train derailment video, the train can be seen moving slowly. However, all of a sudden the wagons started to derail like a deck of cards. Teams of railway police and fire brigade arrived at the spot for the rescue operation. “Iron sheet rolls were loaded in the goods train. Possible casualty of a person on the track not ruled out,” an official was quoted by a news wire. Notably, as soon as the train derailed, people present under the bride started to see what happened after a massive noise took place.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) took to its X handle and slammed Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw. AITMC wrote, "You'd expect the Indian Railways to have learnt a lesson from the tragic Balasore incident that claimed nearly 300 lives, but NO! Train accidents have become an all too common occurrence. Today, at least 10 wagons of a goods train derailed near Sarai Rohilla Railway in Delhi, potentially causing a casualty. RM @AshwiniVaishnaw has transformed the once reliable mode of transport into a perilous death trap!"
