The Amritsar police on Wednesday has arrested CBI ADGP (Crime) in disguise. Fake identity cards, forged documents have been recovered from his possession of the accused. The detained accused had struck a deal with Axis Bank Deputy Manager Dilpreet Singh for Rs 1,500,000 to get him a job as an inspector with the CBI.
Last day, ADGP in disguise had taken token money of Rs 1.6 million. The accused has been identified as Praveen Kumar, a resident of Gaganpura New Gonda of Nanded, Maharashtra. The investigation has revealed that the fake ADGP has deceived the people in several districts besides Amritsar.
