The CBI on Thursday landed in Mumbai and started their work on Friday morning. The team has already collected the viral documents related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death and also met DCP Abhishek Trimukhe.
Now, speculations are on high that the CBI can take Rhea Chakraborty's custody for interrogation. Going by the reports ETimes Sushant's family lawyer Vikas Singh said, "Professional rivalry will be part of the investigation, we have not left it. We didn't impress upon it so much as we did not have direct information about it.''
On being asked about the chances of custodial interrogation of Rhea as the case is with the CBI now, Singh said, "There is a certain chance of her being taken into custody for questioning as she is the prime accused in the case.''
Vikas also responded on the WhatsApp chats that have gone viral. He said that she has said just the opposite in her statement, where she said that Sushant had asked her to leave the house. This is damaging for her. I wonder who has leaked the chat.'' Is she trying to shift the blame? "She cannot shift the blame.
