SSR-Death-Mystery SSR-Death-Case CBI-Probe

Sushant Singh Rajput's death case is being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the recommendations of the Supreme Court and the Bihar government. The CBI is quizzing all the links of the late actor and has already recreated the death scene at the SSR's Bandra residence. The SIT is probing all the possible angles related.

After starting the investigation, CBI approached the forensic department of the AIIMS for its medico-legal opinion in the case. However, earlier in the week, there were reports that CBI has ruled out the murder angle as it could not find anything related to it and now will prove the suicide angle.

But, the forensics sources investigating the demise of SSR have refuted the claims that the murder angle has been ruled out and that only the suicide angle is being probed.

The sources in the report dismissed all claims made in reports and suggested that they may be ‘planted’.

AIIMS forensic HoD Dr. Sudhir Gupta, leading the forensic team investigating SSR's death case has said to a channel that the team will be looking into the possibility of a murder. He said, “We will look into the possibility of murder. However, all probable angles will be thoroughly examined.” As per the report, the team will be evaluating the injury pattern on SSR’s body and correlate it with the circumstantial evidence found during his death.
