"Reports are speculative": CBI releases official statement rubbishes report that it has closed the investigation in Sushant's case

The report went on to say that in the upcoming few days the agency will be submitting its closure report in the form of a charge sheet to the CBI court in Patna

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) released its official statement on Thursday. A report by Zee News claimed that the CBI team probing Sushant Singh Rajput's case has reached its conclusion and did not find any foul play in the actor's death.

The report went on to say that in the upcoming few days the agency will be submitting its closure report in the form of a charge sheet to the CBI court in Patna. Now, the CBI has released its official statement and called the report of Zee News 'Speculative'. 

The statement says, "Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) continues to investigate the death of  Sushant Singh Rajput. There are certain speculative reports in media that the CBI has reached a conclusion. It may be reiterated that these reports are speculative and erroneous."

The report had also stated that the Court will decide the further course of action in the abetment of suicide allegations against Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty once the CBI files its report.
