CBSE Board Exam 2022: Datesheet released, check updates about marking scheme and sample papers

CBSE has released the datesheet for Class 10 and Class 12 Term I Board Exams, according to which exams of class 10 would start from Nov 30 and class 12 would start from Dec 1.

On Monday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the datesheet for the Term I board exams which would commence from November 30 (Class 10) and December 1 (Class 12). 


Today, on Tuesday, the education board has released the Marking scheme and sample question paper for Class 10 and Class 12 for Board exams 2021-2022. Candidates can check both on the official site of CBSE – cbse.nic.in. 


As term I examination would be conducted in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format, the sample papers available are provided in the same format. These are based on the new revised & reduced CBSE Syllabus 2021-22.

CBSE has formed a table, consisting of all subjects, sample papers and marking scheme. To check the sample papers and marking scheme for class 10th, candidates may click HERE, and to check both for class 12th, candidates may click HERE


The board has said that the term I exam would be conducted offline and would be of 90-minute duration. The board has also said that the subjects would be divided into ‘Minor’ and ‘Major’ subjects.

Major subjects for class 10 are – Hindi Course A, Mathematics Standard, Home Science, Hindi Course B, Science, Social Science, Computer Application, English Language & Literature and Mathematics Basic. And major subjects for class 12 are – Hindi Elective, History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physical Education, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Informatics Prac. (New), Computer Science (New), English Core, and Hindi Core. 


There are 66 minor subjects for class 10 and 95 minor subjects for class 12. Language subjects and skill-related skills would be included as minor subjects.
