In the related development Prime Minister Narendra Modi isto hold a meeting with Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal and other seniorofficials in the Ministry on Wednesday to discuss the issue of holding CBSEBoard exams amid demand from students, teachers, parents and other stakeholdersto cancel it due to Covid-19 surge, said sources.

Noting devastating second wave of Covid-19, Rahul Gandhisaid: "Conducting CBSE exams must be reconsidered. All stakeholders mustbe consulted before making sweeping decisions."
