Central Board of Secondary Education will begin the Term 2 examination on April 26, 2022 onwards for Class 10, 12. CBSE has already released admit card on April 14 and candidates can download the admit card through the official site of CBSE on cbse.gov.in.

On the other hand, due to rise in Covid cases students are demanding the cancellation of exams. Parents, students have taken their respective Twitter handles to ask for cancellation of exams, following MCQ pattern, home centres and other alternative routes.

This will not be the first time when the exams will get cancelled or postponed. CBSE last year at the time of announcing the special scheme for the exams to be held for the academic session 2021-22 mentioned that if the term 2 exams could not be conducted, then the results will be based on the performance of students on term 1 MCQ examination.

"Results would be based on the performance of students on Term I MCQ based examination and internal assessments. The weightage of marks of term I examination conducted by the Board will be increased to provide year end results of candidates," CBSE mentioned in its statement.

However, till not the situation of Covid is not that severe in the country. No official notification has been issued by CBSE yet regarding the cancellation of exams. Apart from CBSE, ICSE, ISC Semester 2 exams 2022 is scheduled to commence from 25 April 25.
