A miraculous escape for a couple crossing a street with a baby in a stroller when an SUV almost ran over them. The terrifying accident was avoided after another car crashed into the SUV at the same signal.
The entire incident has been caught on camera as a video has been released by the Phoenix Police Department, US, on Facebook. As the couple along with their child crossed the street, the SUV jumped the red light at the signal and was just about to crush them. Exactly at that moment, a Chevy Cruze sedan rammed into the SUV and redirected it from the couple - preventing the catastrophic accident.
The couple with their child rushed across the street after the crash. In their Facebook post, Phoenix Police Department shared more details, adding that the SUV was driven by Ernesto Otanez Oveso.
"Oveso and a woman in the car with him took off running after the accident. Oveso noticed a witness was following him and told that man to stop, even stabbing one of the doors on his car," the post said.
