Subramaniam, who has made a mark in films and television, has also written screenplays for films. His son also passed away two months ago. 

Actors associated with the entertainment world are expressing their condolences on social media on the death of the actor. 

Apart from Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film 'Parinda', Subramaniam was also the author of the film '1942: A Love Story. He acted in 'Parinda', '1942: A Love Story' and 'Teen Patti' and was also in the role of an assistant director in 'Parinda'. 

In such a situation, tribute was paid to him by Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films. 

Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films shared two photos of Subramaniam on his Instagram and wrote that we deeply mourn the passing of Shiv Subramaniam, a progressive actor, an outstanding writer, a dear friend and above all, an iconic human being. 


Our condolences to his family and friends. He has made our films special, may his soul rest in peace. Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal paid tribute to Subramaniam by sharing a post on Facebook. 

He wrote that Shiv was amazing! Shiv Subramaniam was A great human being and scholar, I knew him for many years and whenever I would call him he used to say 'Aapka ki liye bhi Chandan.  He never asked for anything, I asked him to act in my first film. 

He read my script and he said he liked it. It is funny that he has written Parinda and thousands of dreams like this. He had also rehearsed for his part, but due to his son's health, he had to leave it and now he has followed his son. 

Shiv, I will always celebrate with you. Take rest. 'Anything for you Shiv. Condoling the demise of the actor, director Ashok Pandit wrote, "Deeply shocked and saddened to learn about the passing of our dear friend, a great actor and a wonderful human being, Shiv Kumar Subramaniam. My condolences to his wife Divya. May God give you enough strength to face this sorrow.

Actor Gulshan Devaiah also tweeted the photo of Shiv Kumar Subramaniam and wrote that Rest in Peace Shiva. At the same time, casting director Mukesh Chhabra expressed his grief by writing RIP Shiv Bhai. 

The news of the actor's death was given by filmmaker Hansal Mehta. At the same time, information was given about his funeral being held in Mumbai. He also paid tribute to Subramaniam. 

At the same time, Bina Sarwar wrote that it is very sad news. He passed away two months after the death of his son Jahan. His son had a brain tumour. He died before his 16th birthday.
