Chandigarh hit & run: Girl feeding stray dogs run over by speeding SUV, Watch horrific video

In an absolute shocker, a 25-year-old was hit by a speeding car late at night while she was feeding stray dogs near the road. The incident has come to light from Furniture market in Chandigarh. The whole incident was captured on the CCTV installed nearby.

Reportedly, 25-year-old Tejaswita Kaushal at around 11:30 pm on Saturday went out along with her mother Manjinder Kaur to feed the stray dogs. While she was putting food in their bowl, a speeding vehicle came and hit her. The driver after hitting her ran from the scene. On listening to her daughter crying and screaming, Manjinder Kaur came running towards her when she saw her daughter soaked in blood. She then called her husband Ojaswi Kaushal and sought help. Tejaswita was then rushed to hospital GMSH-16. The victim has received stitches on her head and her condition is stable.

The sector-61 police station has registered DDR in the case. The footage was taken from the concerned person by Tejaswita’s father who while giving it to police asked them to take strict action against the accused. Ojaswi Kaushal revealed that Tejaswita is a graduate in architect and was preparing for UPSC exam. She was an animal lover and everyday used to go along with her mother to feed the stray dogs.

The video that has gone viral shows Tejaswita in the extreme left putting food in a bowl while a dog is standing near her. After some time, a car came in speed and without slowing down hit her badly. The driver instead of stopping, can be seen feeling away from the spot.

A similar incident took place in Delhi where the victim’s scoot was hit by a car and she was dragged for around 12-13 kms under the car. The accused of Delhi Accident Case are now under police custody.
