The Congress dissension in Punjab has flared up once more. Former Chief Minister Charanjit Channi has responded to Navjot Sidhu for the first time. Channi said that I was the Chief Minister. Finally, my head was tied to Sehra (CM face). In this sense, the blame for defeat falls squarely on my shoulders. However, Channi asked in gestures, "Who is the head and what is his responsibility?" I'm not going to say anything about it. Channi's statement is based on Sidhu's words, in which he blamed Channi for the defeat.

In the 2022 Punjab elections, Navjot Sidhu wants to be the CM's face. Sidhu even made a Punjab model for this purpose. The Congress's strategists, on the other hand, were unable to comprehend Punjab's mood. He became embroiled in the politics of the cast. Sidhu was passed over for the CM position. Sidhu took a seat at home, enraged. He didn't campaign despite being the leader. Sidhu was defeated in the Amritsar East by-election. Sonia Gandhi subsequently resigned as a result of this. Sidhu, on the other hand, said that Channi was to blame for the loss because the poll was held under his direction.

In the Punjab elections, Congress had placed a bet on Charanjit Channi. First, Channi was named CM over Sunil Jakhar, Sukhjinder Randhawa, and Navjot Sidhu. Then contested the election on his 111 days of work. Channi was chosen to be the CM's face. The 32 percent SC vote in Punjab, according to Congress strategists, would come to their account on its own. Congress, on the other hand, was soundly defeated. Bhadaur and Chamkaur Sahib vanquished Channi himself. In comparison to 2017, Congress received only 18 seats, down from 77 in 2017.
