India's ace writer Chetan Bhagat has become the recent celebrity to face the wrath of Sushant Singh Rajput's fans. Chetan Bhagat in an interview with Barkha Dutt responded to the ongoing controversy between the AIIMS panel and Sushant Singh Rajput's family.
Recently, an AIIMS panel concluded after a re-evaluation of Sushant’s post-mortem report that the actor had died by suicide, and wasn’t murdered. Sushant's family lawyer Vikas Singh then demanded a new panel to be set up, calling the AIIMS report ‘faulty’.
On this, Chetan Bhagat said, "I’ve never been to AIIMS, but you’re claiming AIIMS is corrupt? One of the hardest places to get a job in, get admission in... It’s like you saying my IIT Delhi is corrupt. I will get very angry. Show me some proof."
"You’re only saying this because you did not like what they said. So it must be untrue, no? We are the only honest ones here," Chetan added.
After this, the netizens started to troll and criticize the writer on social media.
Soon after this, Chetan Bhagat tweeted Pro- Sushant tweet. He wrote, "I love Sushant I love Bollywood I love people who care for Sushant I love India. I love Maharashtra. I love a well argued point of view, left or right. I love good leaders, BJP or Congress. Don't make me choose. Don't make me hate. And remember, ultimately we are all Indian."
