“Unfortunately, Hayden cancer is back for a second time,” said Sophie mom, Cathy. “She was told she needed to start another round of chemo right away, and Sophie wanted to do something to show her support.”
Every year on Christmas Nigh Chocolate holds a raffle for their giant 25-pound chocolate Santa. “We couldn’t believe it, of all the thousands of people who entered the raffle, she really won,” said Cathy. “So we decided to have a little fun with it.”
The chocolate is being sold along with tickets to the school annual Christmas play, and the proceeds will be donated to the Davis family, to help with travel expenses related to getting Hayden to Hamilton for chemotherapy sessions.
