Why do we celebrate Christmas on December 25?

Christmas is the jolly time of the year. The day is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. It is observed on 25th December all across the world. "Christmas" is a shortened form of "Christ's mass". Jesus was born in Bethlehem to Joseph and Mary. The month and date of his birth are not known, but by the early-to-mid-fourth century, the Western Christian Church had placed Christmas on December 25.

Significance of Christmas:

The Significance of Christmas is known to men, all over the world. When Jesus Christ was born, the world was full of hatred, greed, ignorance, and hypocrisy. His birth transformed the lives of the people. He taught people to be spiritually awakened, exhibits devotion and purity, and be humble in their life.
