The Punjab Government and Educational Department has announced that the youth from states except Punjab who wish to apply for government jobs but haven’t studied Punjabi till Class 10 now have a chance to qualify under the Additional Punjabi (Class 10) examination.
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced that the admission forms for the Additional Punjab (Class 10) examination will be accepted till July 18, 2025, and the roll numbers for the exam will be released on July 22, 2025.
Notably, the roll numbers and other important details will be released on the official website of PSEB, i.e. www.pseb.ac.in.
In addition to this, the Examination Board has explained that the exam will be conducted on July 29 and July 30, 2025, at the designated centers across Punjab.
Important Documents for Exam Form Submission -
The Punjab Exam Board has notified that the applicants to bring the following attested documents -
- Class 10 pass certificate
- A valid photo identity card
It is to be noted that the copies for the above-mentioned certificate must be submitted before July 21, as the roll numbers will be issued only after appropriate documents are submitted.
Importance of the Exam -
The Additional Punjab Exam gives the students of the other states a window to participate in the government exams conducted by Punjab as according to the “Punjab Raj Bhasha Act,” to apply for any government exam in Punjab, the candidate must know Punjabi up to Class 10.
Notably, PSEB conducts this test “four times” a year.
