Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann went live for the very first time since the operation against Amritpal Singh started. CM Mann spoke about Punjab’s peace and harmony and actions against those who try to harm the same. He also talked about various development projects started by AAP.
Reportedly, while addressing the people of Punjab CM Mann stated that the state has played a very important role in leading India. He added that whenever India needed help be it in revolutions, becoming self-dependent or fighting against wrong, Punjab has always contributed fully. CM Mann said that Punjab and the people living in the state are known for peace, harmony, love, and humbleness. He stated that whosoever tries to harm the same will not be spared by their government. CM Mann added that all the elements that tried to hamper the peace of the state have failed miserably and the same will continue in future.
Although he did not straightaway spoke about Amritpal Singh’s arrest or crackdown on him, there were some indirect statements regarding the same. CM Mann stated that for a few months, various elements are disturbing the peace of state by giving hateful speeches carrying out violence, etc but action has been taken against them. He added that all the people responsible for same have been arrested and strict action will be taken against them.
In the end, he thanked the people of Punjab for not falling into the trap and maintaining the harmony of state. He added that he feels happy that Punjab’s youth stands for right and against wrong.
