CM Mann’s second marriage: 16-year age gap between Mann and Dr. Gurpreet; his mother and sister chose the girl for him

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is going to get married for the second time on Thursday.

CM Bhagwant Mann is going to get married for the second time tomorrow to a dentist Dr. Gurpreet Kaur. According to the sources, Bhagwant Mann and Gurpreet have an age gap of around 16 years. She is 16 years younger than CM Mann. She did her MBBS from Maharishi Markandeshwar University at Haryana's Mullana in 2018. The wedding will take place in Chandigarh at CM Mann's residence tomorrow. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will also attend Mann’s wedding.  

Mann’s mother and sister chose this girl for him.  Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is already acquainted with Mann's sister Manpreet Kaur. Mann's sister Manpreet and Gurpreet have also been shopping together several times. Mann's mother Harpal Kaur and sister Manpreet Kaur fixed this relationship. At the behest of the family, CM Mann consented to the marriage.

Bhagwant Mann came to politics in 2012 and joined Manpreet Badal’s Punjab People’s Party. In 2012, he contested from Lehragaga but lost. However, in 2014, he joined the Aam Aadmi Party. He got a ticket from Sangrur. Then his wife Inderpreet Kaur also campaigned. After becoming an MP, Mann's relationship with his wife deteriorated.

He got divorced from his first wife in 2016. Mann has two children -- son Dilshan and daughter Seerat -- who are currently staying in the US with their mother. Both children had attended Mann's swearing-in ceremony at Khatkar Kalan on March 16.

According to sources, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is a dentist and belongs to an ordinary family. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia will also attend the wedding along with their family.
