Punjab Revenue Minister Brahmshakar Jimpa has landed into a new controversy. The revenue officers have sent a complaint against him to Punjab CM Mann. They have said that if no action will be taken against him, they will boycott him.

Why Revenue Officers have filed a complaint against Jimpa?

A few days back, Revenue Minister Brahmshankar Jimpa visited Moga to check Tehsil, Fard Kendra and Seva Kendra. During his visit, he questioned the Registrar (Tehsildar) regarding a complaint of fraud in the land registry in Moga. In this, the commercial land was registered as residential. In which stamp duty was evaded. Minister Jimpa had sought a report from the DC on this matter. When he did this, the complainant and media were present there. The matter was also getting investigated by ADC. In such a case, asking questions publicly is illegal and condemnable.

The Revenue Officers even accused the Minister of pressuring the Minister to make the investigation unilateral. In which action can be taken against the Tehsildar. Sadly, this is done by the minister himself. He handed over the demand letter to the DC and said that the CM should be informed about it.
