Amidst, the haste to announce the results of Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Arnab Goswami created a blunder by addressing Sunny Deol as Sunny Leone on his show.
Sunny Deol was contesting the Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket from Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab. An enthusiastic Arnab Goswami in an attempt to be the first in announcing updates got the surname wrong and ended up addressing Sunny Deol as Sunny Leone instead
This blunder of Arnab created a social-media buzz and gave the netizens a point to troll. Not only the netizens, Bollywood actress Sunny Leone took to Twitter to take a dig at Arnab Goswami major blooper on TV. The actress tweeted: “Leading by how many votes???? ;)”

Amid the bombardments of troll on twitter, a condom brand- Manforce, for which Sunny Leone is the ambassador was quick enough to take a jeer at the news anchor. Mocking Arnab ‘excitement level’, the condom brand wrote: “Dear Arnab, we understand. She is always on our mind as well #NationKnows”
Arnab slip of tongue was comic relief for netizens amidst the high-voltage political drama and counting day pressure, it is important for a news anchor to deliver the right news without any blunder or else they might just become a part of a social media trolls.
