The controversy around former Punjab DGP Muhammad Mustafa's
remark has erupted. The BJP has taken a strong stance on this. At the same
time, Mustafa is receiving guidance from within Congress. Navjot Sidhu's Chief
Strategic Advisor Mustafa, on the other hand, stressed that he did not mention
Hindus but Fittno. Fittno is a wicked word. There's no Hindu-Muslim connection
here because the people he's talking about are also Muslims.
Mustafa responded to a BJP spokesman.
Muhammad Sambit Patra, a BJP spokesperson, received a
response from Mustafa. He advised Sambit to avoid being Hindu-Muslim in all
aspects of his life. He claimed that I used the term Fittno, which is widely
used in our culture. This has nothing to do with Hinduism or Muslims. My rage
was directed towards the broom people who were causing havoc. Mustafa stated
that being a patriot does not require a certificate from anyone. Mustafa
responded to a BJP spokesman.
For a long time, I've
been fighting the country's enemies and those who threaten Punjab's communal
unity. Bittu, a Congress member said to apologize to Mustafa.
Ravneet Bittu, a Congress MP from Ludhiana, shared Mustafa's
video on Twitter, saying he was surprised by the former Punjab DGP's attitude
and language. Punjab is the best example of religious cooperation, as it is
home to Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, and Muslims. Mustafa's statements are not
only destructive to community cohesion, but they also go against Congress'
secular ideology. This invitation to violence is unacceptably dangerous.
Punjab's tranquility is more important than any election. Mustafa should take
responsibility for this.
Punjab is reliant on the gurus' education, according to
Sidhu.
Navjot Sidhu, the Punjab Congress chief, did not respond
directly to this question. He claimed that every Punjabi child is neither Hindu
nor Muslim, but rather follows the teachings of their gurus. He stated that
Congress is a political party dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi's ideas.
Attempting to destabilize Punjab's atmosphere, Aam Aadmi
Party Punjab co-in-charge Raghav Chadha said that efforts are being made to split
Punjab in the name of religion and destabilize the situation. With the support
of one religion, an endeavor is being made to create a schism in society.
Sukhbir Badal, a Congress member, was taken aback by the
setback.
Congress is afraid of the ground slipping from under its
feet, according to Akali Dal head Sukhbir Badal. That is why so much effort is
being put forward.
