Congress vs Congress: Are internal quarrels re-initiated?

Navjot Singh Sidhu, the President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, did not speak at Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's rally in Rajomajra in the Dhuri Assembly segment on Friday.

Punjab-Elections Congress Sidhu
The continuing issue in the Punjab Congress is showing no signs of abating. Navjot Sidhu seems to be incensed because the party's chief ministerial face, Charanjit Singh Channi, was re-elected on 6 February. On Sunday, Sidhu's distress was on display during a rally in Dhuri held by Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi. Sidhu declined to speak at a rally in Dhuri for Congress candidate Dalbir Singh Goldie. Sidhu stepped up after calling the name from the podium, folded his hands, and gestured to Channi, saying, "Call him."

Since Channi was named CM face, Navjot Sidhu has been deafeningly quiet. Although Sidhu stated that the decision of the party high leadership was acceptable to him, his behavior suggests that he is speaking from above and that he is still upset.

Among those who accompanied Gandhi to the gathering in support of Congress candidate Dalvir Singh Goldy were Sidhu, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, and Congress veteran Sunil Jakhar. Despite being summoned to the stage by Simrat Khangura, Sidhu refused to speak to the audience.

It's almost election day in Punjab, and the internal squabbles in Congress may have an insignificant influence on the party. It appears to be a never-ending series of fights and warfare between the party itself. This calls into question their integrity regarding their claims and commitments to Punjab as a newly established administration.
