A fraudster created a fake Facebook profile of Chief Principal Secretary (CPS) Suresh Kumar and demanded money from people as financial help.

The swindler had sent friend requests to people who were on his friends’ list.

However, soon after the CPS Suresh Kumar came to know about the fake profile, he posted a message on his real account asking people to be cautious.

In the message on his real facebook account, CPS wrote, “Friends, someone seems to have opened another account in my name to extort money and cheat. Please ignore if you receive any mischievous message. Cyber crime team of Punjab Police is working to nab the miscreants!”

“All of you are requested to report it as a fake account to facebook through your account on which you have received any mischievous message from this hacker who is identified to be some Rajiv Sagar”, the message reads.

Also, after a friend request was accepted, the fraudster started a conversation on the Facebook messenger and requested them for financial help.
