Who killed Roshini Saluja? (Spoilers Ahead)
Before revealing the answer, let's develop the story in brief.. Criminal Justice: A Family Matter Episode 8 showcased Madhav Mishra pursuing the medicine angle that he discovered in the 'Missing Link' episode. The medicine has been given to diabetic patients. Hence, Mishra inquires if anyone in the Nagpal family is diabetic or not. And, guess what, there was no one diabetic in the Nagpal family.
Thereafter, Madhav Mishra establishes that it was Roshini Saluja who was slowly killing Ira. Yes! Roshini was feeding diabetic medicine that was dangerous for a patient suffering from Hypoglycemia. The reason being- Roshini Saluja could not move on from the pain of aborting her baby, and at the same time,e taking care of Anju and Raj Nagpal's daughter.
Hence, on the day of the murder, Roshini Saluja comes early morning to feed the dangerous medicine to Ira again; however, this time she was caught.
Did Anju Nagpal kill Roshini Saluja?
The answer is no. Although on Madhav Mishra's grilling in the court, Anju Nagpal confessed to killing Roshini, in reality, she did not.
If not Anju, then who?
The answer is Raj Nagpal.. In the court, Anju describes that she caught Roshini mixing up medicine in milk that was like a slow poison for Ira. Hence, a skirmish took place, and accidentally, Roshini was killed by the golden scalpel. As a result, Anju Nagpal was jailed and Rasj Nagpal was acquitted of all charges.
In reality, it was Raj Nagpal who came early morning and caught Roshini mixing the medicine. And, hence, Roshini was killed accidentally.
Why did Anju take the blame?
Anju was suffering from fourth-stage pancreatic cancer; hence, she thought that it would be better if she took the fall and Raj went free so that he could take care of their daughter, Ira.
Did Madhav Mishra lose the case?
The answer is no, technically. However, Madhav Mishra in the end says that 'he accepts his first defeat' by none other than Anju Nagpal, who was also a lawyer. Anju planned everything altogether from the start, and Madhav Mishra also believed her story. Hence, Madhav Mishra says 'She is the first one who has defeated him.'
