The UK is the second pollutant of plastic in the world, after the USA. The environment organization Greenpeace, has recently released an animated video that criticized the British government on its plastic policy.

Greenpeace said that the British government has been dumping the plastic waste to other countries causing bad effects to locals, wildlife, oceans, and the environment.

The non-governmental organization has published the video to force PM Boris Johnson to change its plastic policy. The video is titled “Wasteminster: A Downing Street Disaster.” The two-minute animated video starts with the speech of a ‘global leader in tackling plastic pollution in front of his Downing Street Office. Within seconds, a plastic rain starts to pour on him and with a blink of an eye it becomes a flood of plastic which drowns him and all other people present there.

The video is concluded with a bird’s eye view, which shows that the area’s tallest building is also accumulated by plastic waste. At last, the video ends with a message which tells about the daily plastic waste. The message read, “This is the actual amount of plastic waste that the UK dumps on other countries every day.”

On Twitter, the video has gained extensive support with 14.1 thousand likes and 13.4 thousand retweets.
