Bollywood fame Kangana Ranaut filed her nomination from Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) from the constituency of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh on May 14. This is a big step in her political career which started after she decided to go back to the place she loves and become a candidate from there. After various statements made by her in this context, Kangana Ranaut recently declared the assets owned by her.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has assets worth over 91 crores wherein she possesses gold valued approximately at 5 crores, 60 kg silver worth 50 lakhs and 14-carat diamond jewellery worth 3 crores. Her assets include 28.7 crores of movable assets and 62.9 crores of immovable assets. She also has a debt of 17.38 crores. The fame also owns luxury cars worth 3.91 crores which include a BMW and Mercedes Benz. Ranaut has also invested 21 lakhs in the share market and given personal loans to 11 people.
Ranaut also has 3 cases filed against her in a police station in Bandra of Mumbai where she owns 23.98 crore worth of property. Not only this, this Bollywood diva also owns a bungalow in Chandigarh and Manali. Ranaut also has several Life Insurance policies under her name. The opposition of her Lok Sabha seat in Mandi from Congress, Vikramaditya Singh owns assets worth 96 crores and he filed his papers on April 9.
Kangana while talking to ANI also stated, “Today I have filed a nomination from Mandi LS Seat. It is a matter of pride for me to have this opportunity to contest from Mandi…. I have been successful in Bollywood and I am hopeful that I will get success in politics as well.” She also said that this is not the first or last time she is getting this opportunity and she hopes that she will continue to get more such opportunities.
The elections in Mandi are yet to occur on 1st June and so the results are much awaited for this seat. Let’s see if this Bollywood diva wins people’s hearts in politics as well just how she did in movies.
