Questions surround every aspect of the Chandigarh University video leak case. Even the authorities have no information to share in this case involving the viral recordings of more than 60 female students. The university girls are upset and terrified, but the authorities have not been able to join the connections between the suspects or identify the true culprit. The officers have nothing more to say than 'investigation is going on' for every question.

In this case, apart from the accused student, the police have arrested Sunny Mehta, Rankaj Verma and a soldier Sanjeev Singh. They were taken into remand and interrogated for more than ten days. Despite this, the police are unable to explain to the anxious girl students why their video went viral.

Punjab Police has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of 3 women officers under the supervision of ADGP and senior IPS officer Gurpreet Kaur Dio to investigate the case. This SIT has been formed under the leadership of Ludhiana's SP Counter Intelligence Rupinder Kaur Bhatti. Its remaining two members include DSP Kharar-1 Rupinder Deep Kaur and DSP AGTF Deepika Singh.

The big question is also on the policy and intentions of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab. When the girl students demonstrated over the viral video, women police officers were immediately made a Special Investigation Team (SIT). What is this SIT doing, after all? Why is there such a lack of investigation into such a delicate matter? Is the government looking into it or keeping quiet till things calm down?

The accused student said that she was being blackmailed. Obscene videos of other girls bathing were being ordered by threatening to make her video viral. However, the police have not yet confirmed this statement.
