Bengaluru on Friday jolted with an explosion at the famous Rameshwaram Cafe. At least 4 people were injured including 3 staff and 1 customer around 1 PM in an explosion at Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe. While fire officials were quoted saying that they received a cylinder blast report, later it was alleged that the Rameshwaram Cafe blast reason was suspicious. BJP National President Tejasvi Surya took to his X handle and alleged that the explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe is not due to a cylinder but a clear case of a bomb blast. Below is what Surya wrote-

Tejasvi Surya wrote, "Just spoke to Rameshwaram Café founder Sri Nagaraj about the blast in his restaurant. He informed me that the blast occurred because of a bag that was left by a customer and not any cylinder explosion. One of their employees is injured. It seems to be a clear case of bomb blast. Bengaluru demands clear answers from CM @siddaramaiah."

Multiple reports suggest that an object placed in a bag exploded, but police sources said it is yet to be verified. The blast occurred around 1 pm. The injured people are not critical and have been taken to a nearby hospital. A news wire quoted the Fire station, Whitefield saying, "We received a call that a cylinder blast occurred in the Rameshawaram cafe. We reached the spot and we are analysing the situation." As per reports, the police have not ruled out any angle. A bomb squad and a forensics team are at the cafe. Reports further suggested that there was no fire after the explosion adding it doesn't look like a cooking gas cylinder explosion.
