The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama Video came under the scanner after he was seen asking the minor to 'suck my tongue'. Dalai Lama viral video sparked a wide and global outrage after he was seen kissing a minor girl and not only that he then went on to ask him to 'suck his tongue'. Now, Dalai Lama has issued an official apology and issued a clarification why and how the incident unfolded. A prominent newswire quoted the official statement which said that ' the Dalai Lama' has issued his apology to the boy and his family. Furthermore, the statement added that the Dalai Lama 'often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way' in an attempt to express what was the motive behind 'suck my tongue' video. Here's what the official statement said-
"A video clip has been circulating that shows a recent meeting when a young boy asked His Holiness the Dalai Lama if he could give him a hug. His Holiness wishes to apologise to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused. His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident."
What actually happened?
True Scoop News cannot share the video as it contained a minor in the clip. However, the video shows the Dalai Lama kissing the child on his lips as the latter leaned in to pay his respects. After a few second, the Tibetan spiritual leader can be seen pointing to his mouth and sticking his tongue out. "Can you suck my tongue," the Dalai Lama can be heard asking the minor boy in the video.
