In the six weeks, before production was set to kick off, the production house Skydance of Dallas Sting scrapped its contract. As per the American media, the full details as to why the production has been called off are yet to surface but the reports that are out in public say that the producers and Skydance were aware of certain “impropriety” in which the makers were engaged in.

The cancellation was called only after the production team conducted an investigation at their level to confirm the impropriety involved from the maker.

Dallas Sting is based on the true events of a girls’ soccer team from Dallas that competed against some of the best women’s teams from around the world during their 1984 trip to China.

Matthew McConaughey will be featured in lead as Bill Kinder and is playing a Texan coach for the women’s soccer team around whom the plot of the story revolves. Kinder has no prior experience in coaching and despite that led the team to greatness.
