After getting the information, cyber cell of the police started its investigation and within 3 hours of investigation, the matter was solved.

The state of distress was created in the whole city as a well-known school in Amritsar, DAV School received a message in which the school was threatened to be blown up on September 8. Another thing that is pertinent to be mentioned is that in the message sent, the flag of Pakistan was also placed. The message was written in both English and Urdu and it did not take even a minute for the message to go viral among different school groups.

Although the investigation has been carried out and the culprits have been found by the police, the names have not even been revealed to the school.

The only thing that has been informed by the police is that the children are from the school itself and cannot be arrested as all of them are minors.

Giving an insight into the investigation, as soon as the matter was informed to the police, the cyber cell started searching for the origin of the message and the IP address was traced within 2 hours. It belonged to a student of class 9th who lives in Chheherta. Also, the Amritsar Police deployed black commandos and armored vehicles outside the schools for security reasons. Further, the police raided overnight and destined three students responsible for it. The students detained made a plan of mischief and had put the message just to create panic. No one has been arrested because of being a juvenile.

MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh got the entire school checked at the night. At around 1 am it became clear that the message sent was just a rumor. The Principal of the school has assured, the school administration will also take action against them but said that students of their school can be mischievous but not criminals.

The parents of the children showed concern after the message was sent but later on, said that they have full faith in the school and the administration.

MP Gurjit Aujla has also demanded CM Mann to tighten the security of all the schools. It is suggested that CM Bhagwant Mann has directed anti-sabotage teams to conduct searches in the school premises.
