Dawood Ibrahim poisoned by Unknown Men; Pakistan scraps Internet services: Reports

India's Most Wanted & absconding terrorist Dawood Ibrahim has been poisoned by unknown men in Pakistan. As per reports, the underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim was rushed to Karachi hospital two days back after he was reportedly poisoned. As per reports, Dawood Ibrahim is undergoing treatment at a Karachi hospital and tight security has been deployed at the place in order to save the terrorist from any 'outside attack'.  It is pertinent to mention here that Dawood Ibrahim's health condition is quite critical as of now. Amid Dawood Ibrahim's poisoning, Pakistan also made an unannounced Internet Shutdown. A Pakistani journalist named Arzoo Kazmi on YouTube stated that the internet shutdown might be to stop people from talking about Dawood Ibrahim, however, other reports suggest that it was to curb the reach of Imran Khan's virtual rally. 

 

What happened to Dawood Ibrahim?

 

Talking about Dawood Ibrahim, the underworld don has reportedly been kept under tight security inside the hospital and is the only patient on his floor. Only top hospital authorities and his close family members have access to the floor.  Reports further suggest that the Mumbai Police were trying to gain more information on the hospitalisation of the underworld don from his relatives Alishah Parkar and Sajid Wagle.

 

In January, Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parker's son reportedly informed the National Investigating Agency (NIA) that the underworld don lives in Karachi after marrying for the second time.

 

Talking about Pakistan' Internet Shutdown, the Islamic country faced nationwide Internet disruption as people complained about difficulties accessing social media platforms. This came amid the virtual power show by former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI). The virtual rally was scheduled to begin at 9 pm, but the whole social media was turned down.
