In a heartbreaking development, Telugu TV actor Chandu aka Chandrakanth on Friday died by suicide days after his alleged wife & actress Pavithra Jayaram passed away in a car accident. As per reports, Pavithra Jayaram's husband Chandrakanth's suicide was confirmed on Friday. Chandrakanth reportedly died by suicide at his residence in Alkapur in Telangana. As per Chandrakanth's father's statement recorded by the police, the actor was depressed for the past couple of days. Chandrakanth had been mourning Pavithra's loss deeply. CHandhrakanth was allegedly in relationship wth deceased actress Pavithra Jayaram.
In fact, Chandrakanth had penned down emotional tributes for his Trinayani co-star. His last post on Instagram was also for Pavithra. Chandrakanth's last post for Pavithra reads-
"(Translated Version) This is the last picture I took with you, I'm unable to digest you left me alone. Please call out for me once again. My Pavi is no more, please come back)." He also wrote on his Instagram stories, "Papa pls come back raaa. Pls nee mama kannilu aaplu. (Please come back and wipe my tears)."
Chandrakanth's extramarital affair with Pavithra Jayaram
As per IndianGlitz, Chandu had been involved in an extramarital relationship with Pavitra Jayaram. Chandu had been married to Shilpa Prema since 2015, and the couple had two children. However, they were reportedly estranged. He had been in a relationship with fellow actress Pavitra Jayaram for six years, and her recent death in a road accident is believed to have added to his distress.
Pavithra Jayaram's death
Pavithra Jayaram died in a car accident in the Mahbubnagar district in Telangana. She died on the spot in the incident at Divitipally in the Mahbubnagar district while returning from Bengaluru to Hyderabad on Sunday. According to Bhoothpur police quoted by a newswire, "She died in a road accident last night at 1 am at Divitipally in Mahbubnagar district. She was travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad. Her car lost control and hit the divider and later, a bus hit her vehicle."
